GSCB's mobile Program on the Move

Girl Scouts of the Chesapeake Bay is proud of the return of the girl led STEM program "GSCB Program on the Move." With the first series "Crazy for Circuits" girls had the opportunity to learn the science behind a battery, parts of a circuit, find out what happens when a circuit is not completed and enjoy creating circuits to power a lightbulb, fan and more!

Here's what you can expect from your Program on the Move visit:

  • Every Girl Scout who participates in a Program on the Move program will receive a FREE patch! One patch per Girl Scout, per program year.

  • Volunteers request the date, time and location of the program and GSCB staff bring necessary materials and know-how to facilitate the desired activities. Some date/time/location limitations may apply.

  • Volunteers/girls pick the topic of the program, based on your girl's interests or year plan. Current topics include robotics, virtual reality and circuits - but we're always working on more so check back often for new experiences

Reservations open Sept. 15th, 2021

Did you join us for one of our pilot programs last year?

We can't thank you enough for your flexibility, openness to trying something new, and your thoughtful feedback. It's because of your support that Program on the Move will offer experiences to more Girl Scouts than ever before, with no cost to the troop or volunteers."
